How Do I Get Started

Telehealth for New and Existing Clients

As local, state, and federal agencies provide mandates in response to COVID-19 (Corona Virus), telehealth services continue to prove a safe and secure alternative to in-person health services.

Aegis Wellness Center is committed to continuing to provide services and stay up to date with all required and recommended safety precautions. To help our community we are currently providing telehealth services.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is telehealth?

Telehealth describes the video-conference option of meeting with your counselor for your appointment by using your smart phone, tablet, or any webcam equipped laptop/desktop.

Why are so many people using it?

For years telehealth has been a way for clients to reach a counselor without having to leave their home or office. This convenient option saves on time and travel costs for you, the client.

How secure is it?

Aegis Wellness Center provides HIPPA compliant video-therapy services using bank-grade level encryption for private and confidential sessions.

Do I need to purchase equipment?

As long as you have a smartphone, tablet, or webcam equipped laptop/desktop your good to go! If using your smartphone, you'll need to download the free app 'Telehealth by Simple Practice' and a link will be sent to you by your counselor giving you private and secure access to your scheduled appointment.

Can I find out more about your telehealth services?

Absolutely! Included in your initial intake forms are consent forms that provide information on our telehealth services. Before your first appointment your counselor will be available for a 15 minute video test call to walk you through the process.
